Poetry Contest Reception In-Person
Welcome to the third annual AHPL Poetry Contest! This writing competition is open to any student in grades 3rd-12th with a passion for expressing themselves. The guidelines are simple--any type of poem is acceptable; we only ask that you keep your poem to one page in length. Entries may be submitted in-person at the Youth Services desk or online between Wednesday, April 1 through Monday, April 20. Use the QR code or this link to submit virtually. Only one poem per student permitted.
A reception will be held Saturday, April 25 at 3 PM to honor all submitting poets. Certificates will be presented, as well as prizes in three age-based categories--3rd-5th grade, 6th-8th grade, and 9th-12th grade.
